Has anyone tried to install/use P800 programs/utilities on the A920 and if so do they work. I think I understand that at present all the wizzo's are trying to 'unlock' the A920, does this mean unlock it to software or unlock it to get access to web?

Like you, I'm not sure what is meant by unlocking. If your first prediction is right, should make the phone real serious. I'm awaiting my model in the post. Not sure if I should have waited for the A925.
what is meant by unlock is that 3 has locked the software so that only 3 apps and 3 SIM cards can be used with the phones.
If you get the unlock code for your phone then you can install what you want.
the code is always 8 numbers long.
to enter it go to the phone dialer.

then enter the 8 digit code and you are unlocked.
Not entirely convinced thats true ... I think you'll find that the unlock code simply allows you to put sim cards from other networks in your 920, it doesnt open it up to allow you to put and software you fancy on it ... I've just bought an unlock code today from the net, so we'll see in the next 24 hours or so.
