It's MY LUCK AGAIN - 6630 - wierdest problem - please read! ( Unable To Access MMC )

Hi there!
My firmare is 2.39.15 ( 11-11-04 ).
I have pressed ON button, and selected PHONE LOCK and entered: 12345 for password.
Phone LOCKED ALLRIGHT!
screen lights up only when i pres ON button, nothing else. buttons not responding.
i don't see unlock button
when i simulate a missed call, and hang up, phone show 1 MISSED CALL and i see UNLOCK on left side key.
but when i press it, it disaperes..

theme is something like locked, cuz it still shows remains of sound control during call if u use loudspeaker.

Please, do u know how to reset phone or to turn this STUFF off?

Only problem I have is this: my phone from time to time ( 5 times in 6 hour use ) trows this msg: Unable To Access Memory Card when i try to take pics, or to browse the MMC.
Only fix is to restart it, or to open MMC doors, and just close it.

Is anyone able to help?
i think it's software isue, cuz..u don't touch anything, u just restart, and it's okey, couldn't b hardware..

I had the same problem with the MMC but i found it was when an application was open in the background and using the mmcard.

but i am on version 3.45.110 02-12-04

what do u mean by "when apps are open in the background"?
does it mean, that i have to close ALWAYS EVERYTHING in order to access MMC?
that's stupid

today..i think i'm gonna get a replacement

I have got the same firmware as yours .. and my phone works perfectly ...

I don't understand very well what is happening to you ... When you press on the Unlock key, don't you get any message : "Now press *" or a window asking your unlocking code ?

For your second request, if I am viewing a picture from the MMC card through the Gallery, I can in the same time take a pic with the camera .... without closing the gallery application before.

Are you sure your MMC card is perfectly set inside the phone. Or try to reformat the card (after backup ... )

i've changes my 6630 for new one ( only device, not MMC )
i can't wait to see results

i have the same firmware & have not had any problems like that either, those charging times should be fine with yr new phone it might be a good idea to format yr memory card before you use it with yr new 6630.

4 now, i haven't had any problems
few more questions: is it possible to delete preinstalled themes? my phone is TIM ( italian version ) so i have TIM theme and Nokia theme
is it possible to delete any of these?
is TIM theme fastes because it is preinstalled?
do themes slow down the cell? theme like firefox?

when u have a pic on MMC, and u set it for backgorund, and later, you delete pic from MCC, phone didn't copied the picture to its memmory, so the picture is totally deleted, right?

when u install an application, and leter on your phone u go REMOVE, is totally removed?
is phone in state just like before installation or it's like in windows, when u uninstall u have some files still left, and only way to get clean comp after few monthes it's format

p.s. My MMC doesn't have any NOKIA logo on it? is it orginal?
