Sony Ericsson P910 and Memory Stick Pro Duo

I bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo (high speed) rated at 10MB/s for my P910i, but the transfer rate is very slow - around 1Mb/min.
Where is the problem? Please, help.

Many thanks for your response - I returned the high speed card. The only advantage is if you have a laptop with Sony memory stick reader/writter - which I dont. I originally thought that having Sony mobile phone and Sony memory card ensures high-speed transfer; how naive!
