I'm using an appliction written for a 3650/3660 (OS6.1 I believe) and am trying it on a 6600 (OS7). It works fine apart from one thing....
On the 3650, the application sends packets over the internet via GPRS - on user interaction. The ammount of traffic is negligible. However, with the 6600, once the first user request in started and the GPRS connection isestablished, there is an inordinate amount of traffic flying backwards and forwards over the GPRS connection - MBs worth if left alone.
This is the odd bit... Also, if the app is closed, the GPRS connection does not close and the traffic continues anabated. The connection has to be closed manually via the connection manager (Note: the GPRS config is set to "when needed" and not "when available").
To help track this down, does anyone know of a network monitor app for the 6600 that can monitor types of packets and destination - rather than just amounts of data?
