Extra char added when transfering via 3Com USB BT
Hello to you all This is a great site - had my 7650 for 4 days now and I am I love it to bits!
I am having one small problem, when I transfer files from my PC to the phone via Bluetooth (3Com USB Adapter) an extra char is added to the file name - this shows up as a square on the phone. (see attached)
Anyone else see this?
It is stopping .jar files from installing. .sis files installed but didn't show up in the Manager to remove them, took me a while to work that out! I went to C:\system\install\ found the the files with the square at the end and justy renamed the file removing it and they showed up in Manager.

I've got the 3com one as well and haven't seen this problem.
What operating system are you using?

looks like it's changing the last character to a control character (tab, new line etc.) though I can't think why it would do that.
I take it you're just bluetooth connecting then using the 'send' in the 3com software, not PCSuite?

Yep just using the 3Com software. I actually picked a bat example to screenshot, it's appending the char to the end of the filename, on my example i deleted the 'r' of 'jar' to see if I would get the option to save the file rather than just install.

Do you want to send me one of the files you've tried - I'll try it through mine & we can determine if it's the file or the connection.
