Wink Task manager?

I feel I ought to know the answer to this but I have looked high and low so here goes.....

Is there an app on the 6600 similar to Task Manager in Windows? I ask because I'm having trouble running Avantgo (again) and there's an app running in the background called Mobilelink which i can't switch off.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Kav

If that's the one between between the green answer key and the predictive text key on the left hand side, it brings up 4 shortcuts to various apps.........or am I missing something?

Cheers

You're missing the fact that those 4 shortcuts are the programs you have running at the time

And if you go over any of them and press C then you can kill that process

There is of course 3rd party software for this. There is one from Psiloc (www.psiloc.com) but I don't remember its name. And there have to be others.

You can also see running processes with AppMan from www.symbianware.com and others

You're welcome, mate.
We're here to try and understand the phone too

Thank you for "connecting people", Nokia

I once had that commercial. That would look cool for a startup logo. The naughty "connecting people" commercial
