What size "Torx" driver do I need?
Anyone know what size the torx screws on the back of the P800 are?...I thought they would have been T6 like nokia but they are a little bigger.
Cheers

Torx 8 is the ones you'll need. You might want to refer to this thread if you're opening up your P800.

Someone posted a nice little faq about opening it up.....
I had a couple of difficulties!

They are 8 for the outer casing and 7 for the PCB shield inside.

yup, my grey case is all fitted now and it sure looks good..
My main advice is BE CAREFUL OF THE LED ASSEMBLY. Man that thing is so fragile, if you bend it wrong, it'll break, or be too flexible so that when you put it back together it'll be lose and it will vibrate on the speaker. Which isnt' good.

I'm doing mine too soon (grey casing), and I'm scared. :(
Is it worth me taking it to a service centre and asking them to do it? (I'd ideally like to get the firmware done at the same time - its still on the factory one)... or do you think they'll charge me an arm, a leg and a kidney for doing it?

£50 fitted is actually a very good price, I paid $50us but there was shipping to pay on top so it's not far off.
