Ovi suite & PC suite update problems

Something strange has been happening to me for a couple of months now.

If I try to update either Ovi suite or PC suite, the update will begin the download and get to 99% and then I get a message telling me that the download failed. Can't remember exact wording.

This happens every time I try.

I manually downloaded the updates last time and then manually installed, but I should be able to update via both suite's.

I run windows 7 64 bit. There is no problem with my internet access.

Anyone any ideas as this is really baffling me.

The new updates, ironically, are to fix issues with Windows 7.

Might I suggest following my post here:-

and then doing a fresh install of the new versions of PC and Ovi Suite.

I will have a good look at that, but I do recall when I first had this problem uninstalling and manually installing but still the same.

Did you use Nokia PC Cleaner which gets rid of the "crud"?
