Geotagging Photos....anybody got it to work 100%

I have turned on gps tagging in my phone.

But it just doesn't seem to work.

Is there a secret to success or a program to ensure that it happens.

Cheers

It works fine on my n97 mini. Just go to your photo album and any pic that is geotagged will have an option in the menu to show on map. I also have uploaded geotagged photos to flickr and they show on the map there. Or even better upload them to your own google map and they show on google maps as well.

fadi k is right bchliu.

With Maps Booster used in conjunction with Ovi Maps v3.04 beta, which has added Wi-Fi Networking to its Positioning Methods, it is now possible to get a reasonable position fix even indoors, a la iPone.

yes, but i can't see the point in installing and running yet another program on the phone, because if it doesn't apply the info to the file when i have a good signal anyway, what difference will it make?

Yep.. I'm sure we will use our GPS indoors to locate the toilet too amongst other good ideas of value..

Maps booster isnt available in every country and not avail in Australia.. but I know what it does given I do have an Ipod that tells me my location using same technologies.. Remember too WIFI triangulation is good to 200m only.. AND you need to have a known WIFI point nearby - so if you dont have, then its worthless.

As ian-ross@beeb.n said... Using map booster and wps (built in latest ovi maps) all the photos get geotagged perfectly...
