Nokia E55 died :(
Bought my Nokia E55 (UK) on the day of its release and loved it from the moment I got it but at the end of December my phone suddenly started coming up with weird messages about how I didn't have enough memory etc, so i cleared all my messages and pictures etc but still had the same problem. Then all of a sudden the phone turned off and ever since when I try to turn it on i just get a light screen with "nokia" in blue showing. I've tried things like taking the SD Card out, hard resetting, taking the battery out etc and nothings working. Is there anything else I can do to fix it and is this a common problem?
Thanks alot,
Mat

What's Is In A Name ....
@mrochester . The manipulation we both talk about is done by 4 (four) fingers . An acrobat can do it with one hand .

I came across this name several years ago on the AAS forum . So I'm not the genius behind it . But I enjoyed the weird name though .
Of course , like in Coca Cola there is no Coca present , there is no death vulcan coming alive in VDG (vour digit grip) ......
Anyway call it whatever you want . Maybe WUC (wake up call) .... ?
Edit : sorry to hear from @themat , that it didn't work out yet . Maybe check it a Nokia Service Point ?

Went to the 2 Nokia Service Points yesterday which Nokia gave me the location of, both said they cannot book the phone in for repair as they do not sell it themselves and would not even send it off to Nokia for me so I am having to send it away. Waiting for an email off UPS letting me know when they are coming to pick it up.

Different Policy
Looks like different policies between the NSP's . In my town , as far as I experienced , they will take any Nokia for repair . They get paid by Nokia when it is under Warranty .
Sorry for you , that is going this way , as it will take one , two weeks ....
Let us know your proceedings .
