Free Ovi Maps licence if you can screenshot a landmark
Just to give fellow N97 users a chance to get a piece of the action,
@chansearrington has been giving out codes for 1 year of Ovi Maps navigation. He started with 100 of them but now is down to the 30s i think.
All you have to do is take a screenshot from Ovi Maps or using Best Screensnap, of a 3D landmark and then email it to him at 3dmaps at ovi.com Oh and put the landmark name as the email subject. Nothing else needed, just be sure you can receive mail on the addres you used to send the image!
I tried Stonehenge but that was taken so ended up winning with Iron Bridge, Shropshire.
video of how to do it here: http://bit.ly/3DMaps
to access the image of the landmark in the Betalabs Maps beta there is no specific 3d mode, just find your landmark on the map and zoom in to see the 3d image of it before taking the screenshot.
Good Luck!
[edit] apparently you need an active licence to see the 3D landmarks, those on trials or with existing licences should be ok, if not you could try with a 1 day licence
[UPDATE] All licences gone! :( http://twitter.com/chansearrington/status/4448732374

Nice, I was wondering what would be not so obvious and the only landmarks I could think of were the ones in London such as Houses of Parliament, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge etc, too obvious
That family trip to Iron Bridge paid off all those years ago!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Just won a license for Blackpool Tower, which is good cos I was never going to pay for one, as I seem to remember nokia maps used to be free. Or is my memory as bad as my girlfriend tells me it is?

What about those of us on foreign shores - do we still have a chance of winning, or does it have to be a UK landmark?
Mind you, not many landmarks out in these parts, just lots of desert....

Sorry, I should have mentioned in the original post, anyone anywhere can win a licence I think, certainly seems that way on twitter. Just take a screenshot of any 3D landmark, whether in the UK, US..North Pole perhaps? and send it to 3dmaps@ovi.com and if Chanse hasn't received a screenshot of it yet and he has some codes left, you get a licence
Eep, turns out all licences have been claimed :(
