Nokia messaging question

Hi all,

I've just started using Nokia messaging instead of the default mail client. I like the interface and think when they add HTML support and a notification icon, it will be a very good product.

I have one question though. I use this for personal mail so I don't need it to be always syncing my mail. Is there any way to set it so it polls my mailbox every couple of hours? This is like the 'Retrieval Interval' setting in the default client.

But it doesn't retrieve your mails... it get's them delivered. This is push-mail service and the whole idea is that your mails are pushed to your phone as they arrive.

yeah ok. i get that.

However, i think it would be good if you could be more granular about the time you spend online 'listening' for pushed mail.

For instance you can either specify be online all day or 1 time interval (eg between 8am-6pm). It would be nice if you could specify more time slots.

I'm probably just being too picky. It is a fantastic service... Can't wait for some kind of notification display on the standby screen and also HTML!

Under 'settings' go to 'when to sync', and then under 'hour' choose 'customize. While still in 'when to sync' under 'send and receive you can choose 'soonest' for real push, or every hour, or four hours, etc.
