Whats the N85 keypad like...

Thinking of getting this phone...

Well, its a toss up between this and the SE C905 - cant make my mind up...

They keypad on the Nokia seems like a flat touch sensitive one, is it any good, do you get any responvse back when pressing the buttons...

It's not touch sensitive, it's tactile.

It's actually quite nice to use. Hard to explain, but i guess the best advice would be to try one for real in a shop if you have the opportunity.

Unfortunately i haven't had any experience with the other phone you mention, so i can't do a comparison.

The keypad is actually quite nice, a little bit cramped though. A bit hard to press the buttons but you get used to it. The top keymat is decent, a cancel button is nicely placed but i dont like the green and red call buttons.

After a weekend use of the n85, the features of the phone are impressive. But the build quality is very poor, my top keymat moves a lot and probably will fall off after a months use. Im returning mine and just waiting for the n86 which is shipping this week. If you can wait a few months im sure the n86 will drop in price. The n86 hopefully will be built with very good quality, it uses metal parts and a hardened glass cover.
