v20 installed on UK Red 5800
I managed to install v20 on my UK red 5800. It said no upgrade was available OTA but when I tried the software updater via PC it worked fine.
Thought this was worth posting as I had only seen people with blue 5800s that had been able to upgrade.
No issues to report so far.

Interesting. My UK red 5800 from carphone warehouse on o2 is still stuck on 11.0.009 - product code 0575581
I can't wait for someone to provide a working link to debranding instructions! Nokia's patchy update rollout really sucks

Can anybody tell me how you actually tell what your product code is? It doesn't show up in info on the phone itself (that only shows the firmware version, RM-356 etc).
Cheers

You'll find it on the label under the battery.

The UK models are already shipping with the latest firmware, I think we have different versions for different regions.
It should say...
Custom version date
26-01-09
Therefore the latest version.

UK models with 0575581 are not shipping with the latest firmware, they are on 11.0.009 (and where released with 11.0.008), which is not the same as the v20 firmware.
I know becuase I have taken my 0575581 5800 and changed the product code to 0552438 and applied v20. Seen no problems yet, and am liking the dictionary program (now if only they did a thesuarus as well)
The v20 firmware update for 0552438 is only advailble by NSU, not FOTA (when I did this, a couple of days ago)

hi,mates, really newbie for 5800 so please don't blame me for this post.
I wonder 5800 comes with two colors, red and blue.
So,can I have blue theme on red phone or just can choose between red and blue theme?
Blue phone matches with blue theme but if only red one available,am I able to use that lovely blue theme?
I don't have a clue so please, the owners,I desperately need to make it clear on my mind so I am rely on you all guys.
thank already.

Does someone have a list of fixes included in V20 and what problems does it introduce?
I have been offered the chance to flash to V20 by my NSC but I don't know what advantage it actually gives me if any!

My partners blue 5800 is stuck on V11. It was bought directly from Nokia.
