N95 8gb unlocking
[size="3"]Hi guys
Just a quick message to let people know that my N95 8gb (locked to Vodaphone) has just been succesfully unlocked by the team at www.mobile2mobile.net via an unlock code they supplied by email.
The code arrived in 7 days after I gave them my IMEI number, and I unlocked it within 3 minutes. To be fair after handing over a payment of £25 I did read in a lot of forums about the dubious success of such services and was getting a little concerned. However, my concerns were to be unfounded and I would highly recommend them to other users. I found the link to the site in this forum and I bear no association the the site owners.
Good Luck
Jim

...and another ALMOST authentic story of someone who went through the effort of registering here just to share it with us...
And for all of you wanting to unlock N95 8GB and save money - there is few ebayers doing it for £15 all in with loads of good feedback for doing so, just search for them.

Hi all,
If you are a VodaFone customer why go through all that hassle i bought the unlock code for my N95 8GB and it was in my inbox before i finished speaking to the rep and all for £20.

And if you're lucky with Vodafone you may get a muppet who thinks the phone is over 12 months old and do it for free (has happened to me twice).

£20 from vodafone with definate success, yet people insist on using (in many cases) dodgy 3rd parties.
I think its largely misconstrued that unlocking is illegal/not allowed.

yeah, no point in locking the thread, the site is charging over the odds, and taking ages to deliver.... it goes in the pile with that memory company that lies about stock

For all the people with unlock code for N95-8Gb from vodafone-UK.
I am a vodafone customer too. I got my unlock code from voda but with no instructions, as it was very hard to listen to the customer service's dude with an accent i barely understood. So could someone please tell me the instructions on how to do it.
Because i see that there are 2 versions:
some say you have to have a voda sim card inside to unlock and some say you don't. (which is right???)
Can someone help me out? I am currently aboard.
