How to? is it even possible?

I'm currently awaiting delivery of my new N95.

I currently have a blackberry which is given to me by my employers which is used as an internal mobex, mobile phone, and receives my work emails, and connects to the internal "intranet".

What I intend on doing is putting my sim from the berry in to my N95.
Will I be able to get the N95 to receive my work based emails in the same way?
If so, how do I go about this?

Thank you for your help.

Out of the box, it won't work in the same way - the N95 has no built-in support for push email. There are push email clients, such as Seven and Bitween MailX, but I've never used one or know whether you can connect them to the same systems as a Blackberry.

There are also BlackBerry solutions for Nokia devices. But they're not plug-n-play. You'll have to talk nicely to your IT department.

If the company's already running an Exchange mail server, you could use Nokia's client (http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.co...downloads.php), but don't expect it to give you the same features as a BlackBerry, and you'll still have to talk to the IT crowd.

Thank you, good replies.

So i'm pretty much going to need to speak to the IT guys then.

What is it I need from them? i'm not bothered about the email system working as good as it does on the blackberry, just as long as I can connect to the server and check for and download new mail, that would be fine.

Is it just settings that I need from them? such as the POP3 address and SMPT? and I can just input those settings into the software my N95 came pre loaded with?

You don't use Nortel Contivity for your VPN do you? As far as I can tell from a lot of googling, there isn't a Symbian version of this.
