Thx, that helped

It would be nice if it synced automatically when within range though.. as my t68i does

How on earth do I sync over bluetooth :)

So here I sit, with my brand new p800
However, my successes in syncing over BT are non-existent.
I'm not sure if I get this right:

1. Turn on BT in p800.
2. Pair with PC (have TDK USB dongle).
3. And now?

I don't know what to do after step 2 :P
When using my Pocket PC I connect to my computer and a list of services on my computer is displayed. Here I select the "bluetooth serial port" and the pocket PC connects to the port, after which the sync program start to run (since I configured it to use the BT serial port).
However, I cannot see any listing in the p800 over the services available on my computer. How do I connect to my computer from the p800?
Both phone monitor and mrouter are configured to use my BT port. But if the phone is not connected, nothing happens.

If I use my t68i hovewer, phone monitor tries to connect to my t68i over BT once in a while, so when it's in range it connects and XNDT connect starts to run (I use another computer for syncing my t68i).

Anyone got this working? I would appreciate any help

I previously had a certain phone from a certain Finnish mobile phone manufacturer using BT on my computer. After I got my P800 I just installed all the software from CD (without removing old software) and seems to me that when I try to use BT, the mrouter tries to still somehow connect to my older phone (even if all the settings and stuff seem to be allright). I haven't bothered to play around with it oo much, since syncing via usb works just fine, and I like to keep my P800 in charger anyway when I'm at the office.

Maybe that old t68i installation has fubared something. Try removing everything t68i related (if possible), and reinstall P800 software.

Bluetooth consumes some battery if you keep it on, and turning BT on and off every once in a while is way too much hassle to me. P800 runs out of battery way too fast already, so I would stay away from BT whenever it's possible to use USB.

Yes it works, but it's still "manual"

I want it to be like with my t68i, that it syncs automatically when the p800 is within bluetooth range

Download Billionton's latest bluetooth drivers at

http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm

Version 1.3.2.7.

No more problems!
Direct connection to your phone. No need to use the serial port first!

I use both Billionton and MSI bluetooth USB adapters.
The software and drivers work for both brands!
