What to replace my N80 with??
Hello, this is my first post, I have a Nokia N80 which is due for free upgrade this month but I am really struggling on deciding what to replace it with? To be honest I really like the N80 apart from 2 things, it's size and the battery life.
Requirements for the new phone would be as good a camera as the N80, the ability to add memory (for Mp3's) and I would like to still be able to use Tomtom Navigator and Salling Clicker (over wifi) it also needs to have an FM radio. If I could get all that in a smaller, more battery efficient version of the N80 I would be very happy!!
Suggestions please.......

The N95 is quite a bit bigger than the N80 isn't it? Also what is the battery life like?

I don't know mate, personally i'm not gonna get an N95, they're just not that much different from the N80, and the screen is poo compared to the N80.
Hold out for a while longer and see if anything else good is announced.

After use the N80, N95 screen seems poor... very poor. To surf the net, use mail for exchange, the resolution matters. So, I understand you... And only E70, with same screen seems for me an alternative, because have a way better battery, but without FM Radio, and a little more poor camera.
N80 (the only 80īs series) is real unique... sadly, but N95 is something on side, and not a replacement... only my opinion, and i use both, but for my use N80 screen is away better.

I can agree with what has been said about the N95's screen resolution, and having heard about the battery life from a friend, I would consider the E70 an upgrade. It offers great battery life and a very good QWERTY-Keyboard, which - after some getting used to - is actually really fast and fine for writing forum entries, mails or instant messaging.
The problem is, the camera is not as good, and it lacks an FM Radio. If you can get over that, the E70 is a great package with what I consider the best compromise of size, weight, battery life and functionality.
Greetings,
Martin

Oh, believe me that the E70 makesa good choice. The keyboard is great to use. I can type around 32-36 words per minute. The camera is very good, the noise inside pictures is almost inexistent and the snap is made real fast, even faster than in N70. The resolution is more than enough for printing on 10x15. Just as a sample, take a look the photo attached.

Yeah for web browsing N95 screen is weak. But N80 has a tiny screen which isnt that much better in practice. N95 is also more stable.
Right now i am confused as some software have issues on N95! Any sign of N96?

Battery life is almost the same. There's no Nokia with all the features from N80 which is also smaller and with better battery. Perhaps N95.

Just had another look on the Nokia website, it looks like there isn't anything else coming out to match the N80, anyone got any info on new nokia's? I really want to stick with them as I really like them, the one time I had something else I regretted it so much I bought myself out of the contract!!

the woman I had an interview with a couple of months back said there was gonna be a cool one coming out in Q4 07 I think... Id have to search for my post to see what she said, cause Ive slept since then.
But as some others have said the N95 is a similar phone for functionality but not much of a difference. I wont bother tieing myself into another contract for an N95 when I have an N80. Id bide my time.
You could always get a iphone HAHAHAH

I'm going for the W950i, it's just so much thinner than the N80 and I find i never use my camera anyway.
