I recently broke the lcd screen on my p910i. The display doesn't shows anything at all but the phone works perfectly fine including the touchscreen (I still lock the screen with the help of touchscreen). Now I am trying to get my lcd screen replaced but not sure how to go about it. Can someone suggest an economical way of getting the screen replaced in US(NJ). Sony Ericsson is asking for around 200 dollars to replace the screen and I loose all my data. I have already created a backup of contacts and notes. Is there any way I can save the messages and other data from my phone?
Also I was thinking whether it will worthwhile to upgrade to P990. Can someone suggest a source from where I can get it cheaply.
