Agile Messenger On 9500 *HELP ME PLEASE*
Hi,
I have loaded Agile Messenger 3.30 on my 9500 and on a friends and I just can't get mine to work.
We both use our email addresses on MSN as our login so it can't be a non compatible email address problem, and are both logged off MSN on our PC's.
I have tried connecting via GPRS, Wireless, and the normal dialup, both 9600 and high speed 28.8
But I just keep getting the same error message "invalid username or password"
I have tried uninstalling Agile Messenger but still no luck.
Does anyone else have the same problems and maybe a possible solution?
Thanks
Ari

Still no luck. To confirm the username is your email address right that you use for MSN right? I'm going to setup a hotmail address now and see if that works *sigh*.....nope not even when signing in with a hotmail address works

So i'm still going crazy trying to get Agile to work on my 9500. My brother just got a Sony Ericsson P910i and it worked first time.
We both on the same network so I ruled out the ports being blocked. When I checked his GPRS settings, he had no proxy server, so I created a new GPRS connection without the proxy server and crossed all fingers and toes.
But still no luck. It keeps saying incorrect username and password. I have emailed Agile now 15 times without receiving a single response.
Does anybody have an older version for me to try. If you do, please email it to useme(at)agetech.co.za
I'm going crazy here.
Thanks
Ari

Agile working great!
Agile Messenger has been working without a hitch on my 9500, firmware is 4.44(1) and Agile Messenger version is 3.30. I've only been using it with MSN since that is the only IM I use apart from Skype.
Image transfer and push-to-talk also work, I hope this product remains free forever!!!

So here I am still struggling with Agile. My Network has two possible GPRS settings. I have tried recreating the GPRS access point manually.
Does anyone know the difference between "internet" and gprs default network" under "Network ID" when creating a new point.
My borowsing and email access work 100% via GPRS, but Agile still gives hassles

Could everyone (well almost everyone) who has Agile working, please post their GPRS connection settings so I can compare them.
I know each network has their own, but maybe I'll notice something missing that Agile needs.
Thanks once again

i used to be able to connect using this agile without anyproblem. but since i went to singapore and used different wifi network for agile, it just would not work. it said : "unable to connect to server. if this problem persists plese consult www.agilemobile.com/help"
i went to the site, but it does not help at all, i wonder if anybody else experience the same problem and can resolve it. thanks.

I think this was already said in other threads, but perhaps it's useful to remind it here: AgileMessenger does NOT provide a direct access to chat services, but to some kind of relay server operated by (or for) the editor, for a monthly fee automatically paid via a surcharged SMS service.
As far I am concerned, my preference goes to a direct access with a one-time fee. So I uninstalled AgileMessenger [after several payments for nothing :-( ] and installed IM+ instead. By the way, do not forget to delete also "Agile Authentication" [aka "agileau"] if you don't want your communicator to send automatically surcharged SMS's every month..
