How to Find that Nokia 9500 is genuine

My guess would be if you buy it before December then it's not genuine, or an unsupported beta version.
According to other posts Nokia appear to have recalled the few that were sent out as demo version to make changes.

I use ebay frequently and would not risk buying one from there or a similar non retail supplier until stock is seen in shops or @expansys.

Guess it's better to wait... otherwise you'll problably buy a "sample" that have an error (and should be replaced).

Whether prototypes/pre-release phones or final, shipping phones, they'd still all be "genuine" (or at least I don't think any other company is doing "pirate" or "clone" 9500's anyway).

How can Nokia find bugs and fix them if nobody has the device to find them and report them? Sounds like a catch 22....

Expansys answer to my e-mail (I asked if they confirmed the delay for December) and they told me again that they will receive Nokia 9500 at 27 Oct.

I'm a little bit confused...
