AMR coding de-coding help

i am trying to code wav or midi files to amr but how??
the reason being i want to attach sound files for mms transfer but i the phone also accepts amr but not midi.
how would you send midi files to another phone?

i just followed the nokia link to the company which produces the amr codec and apparently they sell the coder & decoder software. i will give it a try, shame i have to pay...and freeware available??

Well if you download the codec you can use several apps that use codecs to encode. Try searching in www.tucows.com and google. You might find encoders! Good luck!
