Gmail IMAP corrupt characters in text

Hi,

I can't believe no-one seems to have run into this but...

I've configure my N95 mail client for gmail using IMAP.
In the body of emails I receive I get corruption to text about every 70 characters. Apart from sending from another gmail account (which works fine) this corruption happens to mail sent from my work, hotmail, yahoo, etc etc.

Here's an example:

Message body sent:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

Message body received:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps ove; the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick br8wn fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy d8g. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

The problem is the same on my e61i (using the same built-in mail app)
Ive tried a second gmail account and that has the same problem.
My other IMAP account works fine, but I want to use the gmail one...

Can anybody help?

P.S. Sorry if this is a known issue but I can't find posts relating to anything similar anywhere!
