There is no version of Skype that will work at the moment - you can either try Fring or Nimbuzz, but I do know there is an S60v5 version of Skype in testing, but it still won't work on the i8910...

Thanks, rather annoying as Nokia's PC Suite was fine with my N95

At least though firmware upgrades seem to leave the E: alone but that doesn't cover other ways to lose it. I hope they fix it soon.
