OK. Edited file and inserted e90 (not nokiae90)...

OK. Edited file and inserted e90 (not nokiae90) and it seemed to work but wanted a wifi connection. Then edited again (really easy using 7zip) to fix the wifi problem and it seems to connectover 3.5G...

If the phone is not 100% dry when you turn it on then you risk shorting something on the m/board - it sounds like that's what happened to yours.

That's the usual problem with email but hotmail doesn't use POP/SMTP.
Windows Live messenger will allow you to use hotmail, it's free on WM devices but they expect you to pay on Symbian devices....

Apparently the aerial is at the bottom of the keyboard which is just where your hand normally rests when you are browsing the web with the phone open - maybe this is the problem?
