A similar puzzle game is Magic Video. It is a variant of the famous 8-puzzle (or 15-puzzle) but the image is taken in real time from the smartphone camera, so it is even more challenging. There are 5 difficulty levels from very easy to nearly impossible.
I am testing this game for Symbianfrance.com and from now I totally share your opinion. I really had a great time with it.

So you reckon jigsaws are boring, old-fashioned and impractical?
