i tried to setup my email in my nokia n79 but failed. I had been using hotmail in my previous 6500s but I can not use it in N79. The error message is "Server Not Found". When i click on Nokia Email Service Client, the error shown is "Installation package not found. Check that memory card is inserted". When I use nokia email settings, the email account is set up but i can not retreive any emails. It just says "Incoming Server Not Found" Why?

Flickr and Vox gone
I live in Saudi Arabia, one of the countries that Nokia decided to block flickr service. They only used to offer Vox and Ikbis in v10 of N79.
I had to use the flickr cfg file to install flickr support.
After 20 update, vox and flickr profiles are gone. I can only add Ikbis now! No Vox even. Nokia support claims "regional restrictions". Flickr support said that's bull****.
the flickr cfg file is "corrupted" by the new shareonline.

Showing callers Number and Name INCOMING CALLS
* Phone number along with Contact's name - On incoming calls, the phone number of the caller is also displayed along with the name of the contact.
How the hell do you enable this?
I've updated my N85-1 to V20 and HARD formatted it, still no luck getting this to work?

@Smurphboy
I just had the same problem, the home screen kept reseting every two seconds.
In my case the problem was in the mail application that couldn't start up properly (in the new version the home screen shows the last email in the mail box).
I have managed to change the stand-by mode to "basic" (no shortcuts or links on the screen),
and then I removed additional nokia email application that was installed on my phone.
Changing of the settings of the phone with continuously resetting home screen was not easy but it is possible, you just have to catch the right moments for pressing the buttons.
Good luck.

I had backed up my phone and then updated the firmware for the first time for v11 to v20. After updating, the special icons for Music & Utilities folders were lost. Then I did a hard reset and got back my music and utility icon. I lost activated ngage games and other 3rd party applications so I restored to saved backup file which i did before the firmware update and now I have again lost special icons for Music & Utilities folders. What do i do now?
The problem is even if i repeat I must restore after a hard reset otherwise I will lose my ngage application and activated games with it and also other 3rd party installed application.

n85 update completely disabled my phone
The new v20.175? firmware completely disabled my phone. It cannot boot up and cannot be read by the pc suite. I will try to fix it myself but probably will have to take it to the Nokia shop and wait for a couple of weeks for them to reinstall the firmware.

To all those who have updated to FW20, Format the phone once. All the issues are resolved, plus some new changes will become visible.
When i updated FOTA, all the bookmark folders were still there. Also, the special icons for Music & Utilities were gone.
I reset the phone once, and flashed it via NSU too.
The fresh start was excellent.
* All the download bookmark folders are gone.
* The phone number of the caller is also displayed along with the name of the contact.
* I think new icons have been introduced in the Music Player.
Many more changes, will post them later on.

Updated my N85. Encountered some issues :-
1) Could not open contact..
2) Cycling of menu..
I did my usual dumb approach.. (took out the battery & sim card) (didn't really help). Got it all sorted when I did backup restore from the memory. That seems to work. Hope this help.
But overall, looks like a good update. Spiffier download (hints of things to come?). New features (as mentioned above) and hey.. a dictionary. Cool!!

have been using the new firmware for an hour and it works very well!
the share online seems updated and I got a new dictionary application, it's even not conflict with the old one, wowow!! and I can still use the traditional chinese. car guy 143 you are right!
I'm lucky today, nokia has update for my taiwan firmware, when I was using N93i and N81 there was no update for traditional chinese at all. This time nokia seems has improved...

The update isn't instantly available to all users of all product codes i'm afraid. It can often take time i'm afraid.

Any love for version 11.0.47 for Nokia N85-3 (NAM)??
Can't find an update to my NAM N85 either. I've tried OTA and using Nokia SW updater. It shows the current version the same as the one on my phone as 11.0.47. Any ideas??? It's a Nokia N85 (RM-334).
I also just checked the device software updater page at europe.nokia.com/A4305060 and got the following:
Latest available software for Nokia N85, product code 0574476
Version: 11.047
Compare numbers
If this version is greater than your current software version, update now to get the latest features, applications and improvements. Go to Nokia Software Updater download

Thank you! I'm going to have a test...
