Thats strange, the API should auto shorten the url for you when tweeting.

Shorten URL
I just downloaded the trial and giving it a spin. What I miss the most is a way to shorten the URL in a tweet that I'm posting. The URL if copied from my E71 browser ends-up being the full one and this is one thing that I miss the most.

The sole developer can be contacted via @janole on Twitter, and is still developing the application, adding new features, and updates.

Gravity tutorial
I have just bought Gravity, partly because of the amazing interface but mainly to find out about Twittering! Any chance AAS could do a twitter tutorial based around Symbian? I am thinking about basics such as how to follow (the button isn't always there it seems), to whom exactly are tweets and messages sent, etc

i know this is totally unrelated what i'm posting and its not even symbian
but i cant help thinking that apples latest T&C is illegal which bans anyone developing iphone apps from selling them any where but the app store. to crush all competitors like that is sureley illegal in EU http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/04...e_talks_tough/
If it was microsoft EU would have them in court already fining them again

This is in the pipeline. And given the developer's almost 24h devotion to the app at the moment, I imagine it'll be there soon enough.

What I miss is the ability to set the font size, It's difficult to read the posts on my small E51 screen.

I saw the news article on AAS and tried the client and I got immediately hooked. It's the one app I was missing in my cellphone and now it was right there in front of me. Sure it has some flaws (unable to post to multiple accounts simultaneously, no vibrating or audible sign when a new mention is received, etc..) but they are completely obfuscated when compared to amazing UI and the bucket-load of important features it actually has (twitpic, search, etc...) when compared to java based clients.
I downloaded it, tried it, bought it in just a couple of days... It's that good if you're a fan a twitter!

Gravity - The Review
There's been a lot of talk about Gravity, the Twitter client for S60, most of it very positive, and Ewan backs this up with a detailed and lavishly illustrated review, finally awarding it a rare AAS Mega-App award for a score of 90% or over. And yes, it hadn't escaped our notice that a second Twitter client for S60, Twittix, was released yesterday. We'll get Ewan onto that, too, don't worry.
