Tzer2 Djbriandowling, in theory you shouldn't have to reinstall anything, but in real life it may be worth taking a backup of all your data using PC Suite. Some phones do OTA updates without any problems, others do have problems.

djbriandowling Yeah everyone is right. Version 11 is still not on proper release. I'm presuming it'll be available soon.

Does anyone know if i do a firmware update over the air on my phone does it keep all my applications that i installed or do i have to start from scratch again re installing them

demowayne I'm on v10.0.010, product code 0575408.

NSU (latest version) says that the phone connected (5800) is not supported.

OTA update says none available.

The online device software update tool says there are no updates available for this code.

Boo. I just started a thread here http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ad.php?t=80274 and some of the requests are in this update.

v11 firmware to hit 5800 XpressMusic - BTDT

S60Inside is reporting that v11.0.008 firmware is about to hit the 5800 - Been There Done That, in my case, since this 9th Dec firmware was the one loaded on our review unit 8-) - still, watch NSU if you're still on v10 and avail yourself in a day or so's time to a load of bug fixes!
