TwoTimes For an even better fit just peel off the grey sticky tape off the top with the hologram. You're left with a metallic underneath. DO NOT REMOVE the gray tape off the bottom or sides as the metallic part causes conduction and you're device will not power on. I've done this with the N95 classic with BL-6F battery.

You can also file down the inner side of the battery cover for an even better fit. No one will see this so doesn't affect it's cosmetic condition.

1200mAh in the N96?

You've got to love those you push the boundaries - here, Vaibhav has found that putting the 1200mAh BL-6F battery into the Nokia N96 does fit, with the battery cover only 'bulging a little'. A 25% boost in battery life in exchange for putting up with a little bulge? Hmmm.... tempting!
