The best of the best
I have a nokia 5800XM and is gooood!!! size, battery life, screen, sensors, OS, the only thing that is not good at all is the ovi software that comes with the phone, I rather use it, I prefer to connect the phone directly and manage the files by myself, something that I love is the battery life awesome.

Nokia 5800
I have had mine for 3 days now, it's a good phone, has enough features to keep anyone busy. I was going to buy an N96 but when I saw the 5800 I changed my mine mind, it fits in my pocket without being uncomfortable. A few firmware quirks are evident when you use it, sometimes the full size QWERTY keyboard gets confused when typing out SMS's and gets stuck on caplock, other issue is that when watching youtube the picture is very pixellated, 3G or WIFI and surfing the net on it is not a great experience. Camera is not good unless under full light outdoor photos. Besides these few points I am happy with my purchase.

No but the hardware for multi touch is significantly more expensive and requires different driver support. Apple for instance use conductive screens that require actual touch and are more responsive ( in most situations ) as opposed to the resistive screen that nokia are using. A circular movement does not require multitouch as your finger is only ever in one place the screen simply tracks as you move. Multitouch is the ability to say touch two points on a photo and rotate pinch etc like surface and ipod touch/phone or have a keyboard style app which lets you play choords.

and you simply text as you would with buttons. I use predictive text so to type nokia i would press 66542 (or if not with T9, 66666553332)

If you mean a basic phone keypad layout which emulates one as such then yes. Have a look at the video that demonstrates the different methods of touch entry. They are Keypad, Qwerty, Full screen Qwerty and handwriting recognition.

Yes you get destinations like you do in FP2 devices.

No 3D hardware.

Maybe you'll get some answers there...
1. Opera for Series 60 Forum.
2. Opera Mini Forum.

I see from the draft manual that Nokia still aren't including features like Tab support in the browser.

Is there any way to get an offcial response from Nokia on this, or send this message across. Since they're already bundling a VPN client (Although a virtually useless one) they could just build on top of that or release different variants.
I'm really confused about why Nokia would release business class devices or apps that fall so short. It's not like we're talking about some usless kiddy accelerometer app, it's the almighty VPN!

Eseries has been out for years, why isn’t Nokia covering PPTP and Open SSL/OpenVPN? It’s just softwares isn’t it?
This means a lot to those like me, who live in countries like UAE, China, & KSA where most of the cool sites/services like Last.FM, Flickr, SIP, Skype etc, have been blocked for years. This lack of proper VPN support hurts us financially, as much I like Nokia, they really suck at implementing proper VPN.

I'll echo that, its not even present on any E series devices. And I cannot think of any good reason why.

Ah I just found the front to my Bluetooth Radio and after 2 months of torture I can testify that bluetooth is a hell of a lot better than tape converters
