Secondary camera resolution?

Hello,
Do any of you know what type of resolution it is in the camera infront,
the one you use for video calls?
I hope it is VGA, if its not this phone is not complete after my opinion.

Slowly working garmin

why so SLOWLY WORKING GARMIN ?
(in comparison with Nokia N95)

car navigation is critical for many people,
some actions on the way can make delay for tens of seconds for one action or minutes on big picture...

DISGRACE!!! Lead must not loose so much on most serious application.

how to correct this?

if this phone is a standard s60 device and video is playing on real player thn you can fast forward the video by pressing the joystick up (keep pressing for a few seconds as u do in a DVD player with FFW/NEXT key)...opposite for rewind.

A fault or what???

Hey guys.. Tht is one review tht would have made me run to samsung store as soon as I finished reading...but I saw few irregularities (if they are)
Can you clarify one screenshot plz. In the shot the ''camera'' word is cut off. Is this an actual screenshot frm the phone or a shot frm some s60 emulator being run on the pc??? Also there are circles over tools, settings etc in the same screenshot. Does tht show running applications or what???
if all the pics are actual screenshots, thn I would say that the battery drained out pretty fast (...in one noon as you said)...
Plz reply.

There are two key things that I'm really interested in. One, as already mentioned by people earlier, is the TV out feature. Though you guys haven't mentioned it specifically, I have a sneaky feeling that it will be present in this phone.
The other thing, which is a rather technical one, is whether it has hardware acceleration which can be utilised by third party applications (read high end games), as in the N95, N82 and the N93. I hope it doesn't disappoint me on this count

third prty apps

so can i not put my own third party apps on this like java games or even put the nokia maps software on there which pretty much free to use besides the "TURN LEFT" aspect.

symbian series 60 did do a higher resolution screen in n80 which would be better than qvga which is pushing it limit on a 2.8 inch screen

Camera performance and S60 software compatility

I did notice, however, that GSM Arena mentioned in their review of the G810 that the xenon flash wasn't too great and that the optical zoom degraded the quality of photos.
I own the G810 and can attest that during a head-to-head comparison of the Nokia N82 and the Samsung G810 using flash, the N82 was clearly the winner. Based on the first picture of comparison between the N82 and the INNOV8, it seems the N82 prevails as well when flash was used. Samsung looks to me hasn't got their flash and camera photos during low light setting correct.

In addition, I tried to install the S60 applications on the G810 and ran into numerous problems. The samsung has about a 70% compability with S60 apps written for Nokia N-series. One of the issue was certificate, eventhough I specifically set the phone not to check for certificate, it still does. My recommendation is, if you want better photos and applications compability, wait for the N85. I expect the N85 to have better photos than the N82 and with OLED it should be much better with battery life.

I think it does because it has Fring installed as default. I may be wrong, but I think that means it supports SIP (and VOIP?).

Nice piece of kit tho

zoom

how about digital zoom or even optical zoom?

blackheart2925 WOW! sounds like one realllllly impressive piece of phone....now am a Nokia fanboy and a bigger @60 fan (oh...smartphones OS's are wonderous stuff!) but still i think Nokia has been the king on the hill for too long.

Just look at the shoddy quality of it's expensive phones...look at all the complaints about the N95/N95 8Gb, the dead pixel problems etc on the N82...if i am paying out a bomb for such a top notch device, the build quality at least needs to be superior too. Having a competitor should light the fire under Nokia...hopefully...

can't wait to see the review of the Innov8...am not interested much in the N96 but am definetly interested in seeing how this turns out.
