E71- great phone
I hope that Nokia will do not dissapoint again as they done with other few models.
I bought E71 and is absolutely elegant. "runs" very fast within the menu. the browser is excellent. remember one think before you buy it: is a phone with a lot of interesting applications...is not a computer..Vlad, Romania

Autofocus How???
E71 doesn't seems to have dedicated camera button... Then how does the AF system works??? Please explain...
May be there should be a work-around for that... But is it better dedicated camera button of E90... Though not a deal-breaker, that will help me to select E90 or E71...
Thanks,
Depean

I like the idea of "smart dialing" but why is it only(!) in the main screen? with full qwerty it's more obvious to start typing the name of a recipient of a text message or an email.
there was plenty of time to recognize this since the first qwerty s60 device...

Just in case anyone's worried that AAS reviews devices within a few hours, we don't ever do that. :-)
Our reviewer Steve Litchfield was actually loaned an E71 many days before the official announcements. He had plenty of time to put it through its paces and write the review, which is what Ewan's linked to.

Short answer: yes, it is rather fast isn't it. I wonder if we'll have enough time for a full device review as well... which is here
