Now *that* is interesting.
Can you use regular 'radio' headphones instead of bt ones?
Any other phone models with this feature that you know of?
Does this make it illegal in the UK, or has that issue been resolved now?

Doesn't have internet telephony. Nokia just didnt put the internet telephony software otherwise they wont be able to sell expensive models. Otherwise this phone has great value for money.

Nice. Does krisse write to any Finnish site? It's just too plain weird to first read news about product availability in Finland from a non-finnsh site.
|
Nope, no Finnish sites.
Just keep checking Verkkokauppa.com if you want to know availability, they list shipments so it's really easy to see if a phone is now being sold to customers.

Google Translate seems to do a passable translation in this instance - surprisingly.

If anyone is interested in a complete translation, I might be able to convince my wife to do it.

I could do the full translation myself if you want, but it's really rather boring as it just talks about stuff like being able to order to the Pirkkala store for next day pickup.
The interesting part is "viimeksi saapuneet erät" which tells you when they got their last delivery from Nokia, and "viimeksi myyty" which tells you when they last sold the phone to customers.

IMHO the N78 is much better value than the N81. The N78 has built-in GPS, a better camera, bigger battery, FM transmitter (so you can listen to it on your car radio) and a newer version of S60.

That's better...Now to wait untill it gets to Dutch stores. I expect a higher price though -.-
And I can't decide between this and the N81

There's also a "pearl white" N78 out now:

Don't know about the other colours though

How long do you reckon it will take for the other colors to come out? I don't like cocoa brown :(

In case anyone's wondering, you can only order from Verkkokauppa if you live in Finland, Estonia or Sweden. So probably best to wait until it's available in your country then...

Nokia N78 now available in Finland
The Finnish online electronics shop Verkkokauppa.com has started shipping its first Nokia N78 smartphones to customers, with a sim-free price of 448 euros (which includes 22% sales tax, the pre-tax price is 367 euros). It shouldn't be long before the N78 rolls out to other countries too.
