Mobitubia does not work for Nokia n70

I tried couple of builds in my Nokia n70 (Music Edition). But the software does not install. Please fix the bug.

leoni1980 to whoever said that i might be the reason the author is not releasing the application for free anymore, might i just point out that i have not distributed the application without his authority, and simply presented what i feel to be valid criticisms of the look and feel of the programme. What i will say in his favour is that mobitubia does stream video very well, and certainly saves videos quicker than emtube, but in terms of it's gui there is definitely room for improvement, and i'm sure the author isn't so sensitive that he will go boo-hooing at criticism. He is obviously a talented programmer and with the necessary feedback will no doubt make mobitubia an excellent programme - there is definitely something to take from emtube though. All the people i know prefer the look and feel of emtube - mainly for its simplicity and the most effective use of the accelerometer in any nokia application thus far.

Menneisyys Also note that I've posted a VERY detailed review of the app and all the alternatives to http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...d.php?p=374753

ShiroEd I completely agree with leoni1980.

EmTube is a far slicker implementation of a YouTube browser/player than MobiTubia. Being forced to operate in landscape is a very odd decision and is inconvenient at best (broken wrist!).
While the menu animations may look good all they do is slow browsing down. Its a very small slowdown but when you consider how one browses a site like YouTube then all of those transitions make the experience 'feel' slower.
If it was the ONLY solution to viewing YouTube then I'd pay for it but I'm waiting to see what EmTube comes back with.

Unregistered leoni1980, may be you are one of the reason why he doesn't want to publish it to public. You are inducting him. I know how he feel if he read your message.

Unregistered because several Donators posted the application with out his permission he's stopping public releases for now. and deleting any donator who Distribute the application.

I don't think you'd have to pay again for an update, most mobile developers will update purchased apps for free.

leoni1980 Chief gripes with Mobitubia include:

Overflashy and tacky menu system - it just doesn't feel as user friendly as EMtube and the GUI is like a kids' website.

Awkward fixed landscape system - the Emtube autorotate system is SO much better than being forced to use landscape when navigating menus....what's wrong with sticking the Navigational GUI in portrait ALL THE TIME instead of making you switch back and forth as you type and navigate - most annoying.

It's going to cost money: I have no doubt that Youtube will throw another spanner in the works, forcing another update to Mobitubia which will require a donation. If EMtube's author gets the new version together I can't see people paying for Mobitubia (no offence).

On the other hand, it's all we've got at the moment (besides a not-exactly-convenient browser solution) so perhaps we should be thankful that there's something out there.

Mobitubia - The Last Freeware version?

The Mobitubia blog has announced and released the last public (as in free to the public) version of the popular YouTube access utility and Flash video player. v1.80 build 4 has a huge change list, central to which is smoother video playback. Great application. More details below.
