i love the fact you can put a new shell on this phone. if you mess up a samsung's case... you're SOL. with my n-gage, i just got a new shiny shell off ebay and its as good as new. that's ingenuity. its the way a phone should be made for an electronic/portable media device should be made - for the user. all impracticalities aside, the n-gage was made to be used with ease of use in mind.
let's get on my requests now, Ikona. i want to see the new concept phone soon with my ideas (heheh) lemme know if you need a betatester.

i care also and heres my blah blah blah to explain
i've owned the original n-gage and still have a QD. i think it's an awesome concept phone and wanted it to be so much more. the initial version was more than a phone to me with the FM radio - great idea. i wished it had AM also and wanted it to be a multiGB mp3 player. i also wish the QD had a camera... and a firewire connection... and a better way to talk than to have to sidetalk with the speakerphone on (the speaker in this phone has superior quality to other manufacturers or models)... i wish it didn't have an MMC card (for cripes sakes) instead of a much cheaper -nearly same form factor, but slightly thicker- and less expensive SD card (talk about impracticality, Nokia)... i also wish it had more internal memory, a stronger processor, an alarm clock you can set up and use for everyday use with a calendar or weekly schedule... oh yeah... and even though the form factor is kind of cool with the gamepad layout... (this bugs me least about all of these deficiencies and shortfalls) i wish it were more compact and more like my Samsung 635 slider phone.
through all that stuff.. i am still rooting for the underdog because it was a reasonably priced multimedia device that defied normal phone classification and think nokia was on to something special and forward thinking.

i for one care, and i reckon those who bothered to put the program on their non n81's do to.
It's good to know the level of development behind the scenes over the time since the qd retired.
