D4n958GB Any ideas when there will be a fix for Vodafone branded N95 8GBs? I havent experienced any problems yet, so is it worth upgrading?

mmoonsamy There is definately a difference in performance. I have a lot of java apps loaded in mass memory, with v10 some of them took ages to start up. now with v11 they run as if they are installed in main memory.

satsuma I got an unlocking code through my IT Dept.
My VF one is now completely debranded and unlocked and running on T-Mob.
So I effectively have a brand new sim free one..
Multimedia key works fine.
GPS seems to lock on a little quicker but not massively - could just be me wanting to think it does
Shame about Spiderman 3 - I get a DRM message, cannot remember what it says.
I'll probably delete and, er, acquire another copy with no DRM on it

On my wifes Vodafone handset, I formatted the Mass Memory before doing the firmware upgrade, and didn't bother restoring a backup (synced the contacts, calendar to the PC before hand) so no vodafone stuff on her phone at all.

The easiest way for you to get rid of it would be to sync your stuff to your PC, format the memory card, then perform a *#7370# reset, this will get rid of all the vodafone stuff, then sync your contacts back.
