I can see that flash animatios works but you must clic on those in order to use it and I don't like this but well I can see flash now.

When you slide in order to see multimedia buttons the <^> multimedia menu don't show life before so now you must open it with the arrows button.

I'll continue looking for more issues.
While web surfing with Wireless LAN, every page requests me the connection name, so I must select my Wireless every time it prompts, the same, inside BBC Radio 1

Problems with web browser

V12 big crash!

Having happily downloaded and presided over a trouble free V12 upgrade, I was fiddling, as you do, and in the process went into my themes area. I accidentally changed my theme, which resulted in the most horrendous crash. The phone would not respond, or only erratically, only the top half of the scree was visible and I couldn't even turn off. In the end, all I could do was a full reset and restore - luckily I had a recent back up. BEWARE!

Issues after Update

The problem after the firmware update.......

1.) On the screen light time-out, the review buttons light switches on momentarily (I don't know whether this is on purpose or an error)
[I have set the light time-out to 10 seconds]

2.) On call conference, be it outgoing or incoming, the call timer shows 00:00:01 no matter how much time you talk for.
2a.) Once on call conference, when both the calls are disconnected at once(at the same time), the call duration shows 00:00:00

3.) Service message that includes URL's in it, when clicked used to open the webpage link in the browser properly, now it tries opening and exits the browser while loading(loads 1kb sometimes but not more)

This v12 firmware rocks!

1) Phone is so much faster on gallery, loading websites, switching between apps

2) The MAPS application is bloody excellent now. Before, I had to wait 6 minutes to get a satellite fix....now it takes about 45 seconds. INDOORS. I'm very, very impressed.

3) Cool new little 3.5g logo in the top left. The web browser seems really fast too now when in that mode (HSDPA).

4) No-one appears to have noticed this one yet but I did...THE N95 NOW LOADS FULL FLASH MOVIES IN THE WEB BROWSER!!!! Try it out. Its just a shame that they didnt stick a bit more RAM in the phone as it struggles on big video flash files, but for simple fading images and animations. This is the first time I've seen full Flash movies on a small form factor phone. Bring on the N96 so we can run full video files through flash...256 Mb RAM should do the trick.

5) You can save web pages now! Which is nice.

6) Camera is much better

7) Cool blue flashy LED light when in screensaver mode

I like. Finally an S60v3 update that feels like a responsive, useable phone. KUDOS Nokia.

n95 v12 upgrade improvements

I recently went through the unbranding/product code change on my n95 to enable me to uprgrade to v12 fw. Can anybody tell me (other than aGPS) what the major new improvements are? All I know so far is increased memory (ish), increased speed when in Gallery, slightly more battery life and that's about it. Anything I'm missing?

Unregistered I wish they fix the slide show in the next firmware upgrade.

On ver.11 - you run the slideshow, and everything is smooth, and the pictures are sharp. (even when pan & zoom mode).

On ver.12 - Nokia effectively killed it! The Pan and Zoom feature became lousy. The photos are now BLURRED, and the panning movement is JERKY (stops for a few milliseconds). It's terribly annoying.

I keep wondering why Nokia destroyed such a nice feature with this new upgrade?? Im thinking that they switched the processing power somewhere so that the thumbnails load faster - but this is just ridiculous now. The Pan & Zoom slideshow was very handy when making presentations to other people now it's become useless and annoying.

If there was a way to return the phone back to ver.11, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Warren G Does anyone know how to get the Default theme back? I immensely dislike all these Nokia N-series themes! Argh!

Vincentfgdsrgdf I changed my product code to EURO 1 and I got the v12 update. I havent tried the gps yet.
How do you know if you have a "lock on" with the gps?
Im like 7 feet away from my door and i cant get a lock on?
Ive never got a lock on before with my N95? WHen i click on gps position, it points to somewhere in UK, its the default location.
Also, before upgrading, when i open the maps app, it automatically points me to the last location i was when i opened the maps app. Like if i opened the maps app yesterday and i was on 1st street , today when i open the maps app and im on 3rd street, my gps position would be the exact same spot i was on 1st street. Is this weird or what?

Can anyone please tell me how exactly the gps works, because my satellite indicator on the lower right side of the screen still has an X on even after like 5 minutes.

Unregistered V12 and AGPS are great. I'm not sure why i'd need sat nav indoors but it works.

Tpn The text-to-speech stopped working after updating to v12, when someone calls me, my phone restarts.
