all these walkmans have tonnes of gimmicks, but all everyone actually needs is a standard headphone jack. save on adaptors!

Actually, they decided not to include the headset in the box after all, but you can get a free headset when buying from Vodafone by entering the code: vodablue1 whilst ordering.

included cables
about the 3.5mm stereo jack the box comes with a wired handsfree where you could easily plug in your own headset instead of the one supplied. the wired handset is in two parts with the phone connector leading by wire to a small lump which includes the microphone, an answer/hangup button and a stereo minijack - into which the earplugset is plugged.
my retail pack did NOT contain a stereo bluetooth headset as specified above on this page, howevery i bought the hbh-ds980 and am very satisfied with it.
other cables included are:
usb connector adaptor cable (not standard usb cable directly into phone) for media manager / backup / synchronizing. phone functions in two modes via usb 1)slow mode with synchronizing and full access to both internal memory and 8gb media memory 2) faster access with only access to 8gb media memory (media memory not availiable from phone during this mode). you can also recharge the phone via this usb cable.
audio adapter cable from phone to stereo 3.5mm male, for plugging into your stereo
charging cable with transformer, with a through-connector so that you can connect some other cable also during charging.
wired handsfree as described above.
the walkman makes a little too long pause (0.5s)between each track i suppose it sounds good when listening to classical pieces and audiobooks/courses but for normal walkman it's just a little bit too long i hope they change this or make the pause length configurable via the playlist file.

This phone looks amazing!! But i can only get it if i pass my GCSE's!!! Has anyone got any tips for me, I NEED TO GET AN A* GRADE IN SCIENCE TO GET THE PHONE. BUT ITS SOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN THE APPLE IPHONE.

k850i vs w960i
now iv got to rethink wat to get...k850i or this. wondering if this has a camera cover tho, with a 3.15 mp camera, ppl wud assume there was one bu the pictures dont seem to show it, unless its built into the device and closes automatically inside. does anyone know for sure?
