Bassey Wow! This combined with the Nokia 5500 (once it's updated to support S60 V3) would be fantastic! It's just a shame it doesn't appear to cover the Isle of Man

[edit]

Scrap what I just said. Apparantly it does cover the Isle of Man for both mapping and panoramic data (although you have to get the full Great Britain version).

chrsfrwll And whilst only available for S60 v2 at the moment, I've been reliably informed by the company that v3 compatability will be available within a week. At which point I'll load it up on my N80 and hit the countryside on my MTB.

This looks a seriously useful piece of software, with licensing from OS. It's about time someone came up with something other than just more street mapping.

ViewRanger reviewed - Satellite Navigation off the Beaten Track

Steve's the GPS fan in teh AAS offices, and he's been walking with ViewRanger to find out how GPS and navigation works when you're away from the simple roads and streets of central London. It's an impressive piece of software, and while its niche, Steve is very impressed with it. Read why in his review.
