Mobipocket Reader 5.2

eNews can only be synchronized with completely free Mobipocket Desktop Reader.

You may try latest Mobipocket Reader eNews system , with a light podcast integration (useful for Desktop PC) and thousand of feeds you can find from our feeds database.
But first of all, you have a way to browse your favorite's articles on your Symbian device offline!!

Bassey This looks great. I've used MobiPocket for years on various devices and platforms. One of the things that has always impressed me is how easily the DRM system copes with those, like myself, who change their devices on a fairly regular basis. I've never had a problem with re-licensing eBooks I purchased several years ago whether it was upgrading a symbian device or switching over to a MS Windows Pocket PC.

If only the same could be said of certain DRM protected music formats!

slitchfield Looks pretty good to me, impressive integration with the Symbian smartphone. I'll try and get a formal feature/review up next week!

Mobipocket Pro now free, Mobipocket Desktop 5.2 in beta

Mobipocket Pro is now avilable for free (the standard version no longer exists). The Pro version includes extra features such as auto scrolling and configurable text-orientation. You can download the latest version from the Mobipocket website. Also of interest is the new beta version (5.2) of Mobipocket Reader Desktop which changes the way the eNews system works (becoming effectively an offline RSS reader for mobile devices) as well as being a comprehensive system for managing and transfering eBooks to your mobile device.
