Symbian announce email validation program

Symbian have announced a mobile email validation program to promote best practise for push email solutions. In practise this means Symbian will be working with vendors to insure their solutions have the best possible user experience and functioanlity on Symbian OS. Vendors involved inlcude RIM - BlackBerry Connect, DataViz on ActiveSync, iAnywhere, Intellisync, Nokia Enterprise Solutions, QuickOffice, Seven and Visto. Symbian is following a service agnostic approach with push email, which is something of a contrast to its main mobile enterpsie email device competitors RIM and Microsoft.
