Hi All,

this might be a niche question; I have paired my Nokia E72 to the Ford bluetooth system in my car (2011 Mondeo Titanium - U.K.). First did this about two weeks ago.

Since then, the phone battery has been draining very quickly. Normally, I can easily get four days out of it; now the battery indicator on the phone reads a single bar after less than 24 hours. :frown:

I have a spare BP-4L battery; so I swapped this for the one in the phone (thinking that perhaps the battery was faulty) - same thing happens.

Anyone else done this - if so, what has your experience been like?

Many thanks,
TB

Seems like the nature of the bluetooth connection to the car requires more battery (transmitting stereo music, two way interchange of controls from car to phone). I have the same issue but with my Renault. The phone eats at the battery much faster than if I am using just a bluetooth earpiece. If I will be driving for a long time, then I just plug the phone to the car charger.
