Hey Everyone, my first post here though i have been reading here ever since i got my Nokia N8 at launch which i love! ( had both iphone, hacked HTC HD2 and android phones)
My problem now lies in the updating of nokia social. I cant seem to update it to 1.3 since it always tells me that install failed. When i look in the ovi update, i see the 2.5 mb 1.2 update but i cant install that neither. The thing is that the 1.2 update did not get pushed to my phone the first few months it was out, and therefore i went and found a link and manually downloaded it, it seems now that i am stuck on middle ground, since i apparently cant use the original opgrading path like everyone else anymore?
My first throught would be deleting the ovi app, but then i would need to know where to download the original app, so that i could update it via ovi update and then afterwards to 1.3 when launching the program through the web update thing.
Maybe there is other solutions, anyhow i would love a bit of help since i am still new to symbian 3, as written before i am quiet good at the geeky stuff with phones, just dont want to do anything stupid, so therefore i ask for your help!
