Can anyone please confirm what is actually changed in power save mode?

I used it for the first time last night with nokia situations, but was suprised to find that the widgets were actually still all online. Surely this should be one of the first things the power save mode should do!

So what difference does activating power save mode actually do and can it be modified?

it should switch of 3g network so you are able to use only normal mobile network

not just that, screen brightness is minimised, and transitions are turned off also
