I have configured Ovi Sync to sync once a day at 6am (so it happens while I sleep), but periodically throughout the day (11am, evening around 8pm), I see the "sync ongoing" icon in the status corner. I've double checked that I have it configured for only one sync a day, and have even restarted the phone since setting that.

Is anyone else seeing this? What else should I check?

had the same issue...it seems to be syncing whenever it likes...

yup, it sure did. it was messing up my contacts anyway since i could not do a one way sync or something like that
