Seems like the phone not much memory to spare for applications. Take for instance; load in MiniGPS and EProfiles, by the time you open Photographer 2.0 - Memory Full...

Other typical example is to run NetFront browser, many times I would get memory full before even experiencing the capcbility of the app itself !

I'm still on firmware 1.34 and I wonder if the memory management on 2.5 would be better.... In any sense, I also wonder if the 7650 would have similar or worse problem (No MMC support)

Where did you install all those applications? In the MMC or internal memory?

Haven't seen that "memory full" here. Most of my applications are installed in the MMC.

Could be a firmware issue. I have 2.50

Like yourself, I'm trying to conserve as much memory as possible but at the end when I use some utility to compress the memory, a huge chunk of it seems to be "compressable". I guess I need to wait for the dealer to get hold of the v2.5 firmware before I can fully utilize the phone capabilities....

i've experienced that too. I saved all my video clips in my MMC and when i try to play it, my phone says "not enough memory to perform action" or something... It's weird because I'm not using the phone's memory. I just turn off my cellphone and restart it. Everything will work okay after restarting my cellphone.

I'm also assuming it's a firmware problem as I am currently on 1.34. But getting the firmware update over here is not an easy thing. I just found out from nokia themselves that the nokia distributors in this country is separated into 2 fractions - The BIG 3's company gang (In which they claimed are the "official" authorised dealer) and another puny one crusader company (So called "unauthorised").

I guess I need to get back to the crusader repair shop for upgrades.

PS : I wonder what they call my phone Nokia when it's being sold by unauthorised dealer... how about "Not-kia" ?
