I have tried checking for firmware updates using the Samsung PC Studio 7, but when I launch the software updater it connects to the server, before returning an error message - Phone Software Updater does not support the connected model

Any ideas?

Hi - yes, this is what I get too - the bottom line is that the UK i8910 (or any AFAIK from looking at the 'net a lot) does not yet have any firmware updates...
in fact, I just posted on this today - as I think we might at least have some progress...

(before, the phone updater program has just been hanging for the past month, so that fact it says i8910 not supported is actually progress!!!)
