Nope, but when I first set it up, the phone froze, crashed and burned.

I've used it with my N95 - why would you want to get rid of it - out of curiousity? I think its a great app when you're out and about with the laptop.

just trying to free up some phone memory when you click on it it wants to take you online to purchace a licence seems a bit pointless when you have unlimited internet on the phone when your out and about and if i remember correctly it's taking up abour 1mb of memory.

I too would like to know how to uninstall joikuspot. Not using it so there is no need for it to be on the phone.

Ah I see. As I'm in Saudi, I'm on a PAYG scheme, so bought the phone sim free as well. When I'm on the internet on the phone, I buy a 'unlimited' package for 100sr a month, ( around 16pounds ) which gives me 1gb bandwidth.

So use the phone when I'm out and about and cos our home internet service is rubbish, I use Joikuspot when it crashes, so got an alternative ISP so to speak.

Relatively speaking, the internet is more expensive here, and NOWHERE near as fast as back in Blighty.Usually, the home 'broadband ' service ( and I use that term loosely as it provides connection speeds of 256k ) is soooo slow and we pay about 30quid a month for that! To pay for 512 is nearly 50quid a month!

In Riyadh, I can get 512 speed for around 25quid a month. Still with 1gb bandwidth.

Never mind your 8MB speeds I usually get at home in UK....

THe interent connection through the phone is twice as quick and half the price as the home internet, so using Joikuspot is pretty useful. Works really well IMHO.
