Jules_N93 26-06-2009, 11:36 AM This (http://www.mobiletopsoft.com/board/2229/free-sic-ftp-client-released-for-symbian-s60-3rd-edition.html) is the firsthit in google for ftp symbian. I used it on a 3d ed phone, will prolly work in 5th. If there are problems with input, use VirtualKeyboard. gregbridwell 26-06-2009, 08:06 PM Thanks Jules! I found that program but not the link you sent that allowed me to download it. I went to the software website and they text it to you and the install never worked correctly. I am also testing Moby Explorer right now and it is moderately useful. I am going to try your suggestion now! Thanks again. Greg seki 26-06-2009, 10:22 PM Written for 3rd edition but I just installed it on my N97 .. it works fine .. so in theory it should work with your omnia .. http://www.box.net/shared/udng2o0ss7 should get it for you. Oh best thing .. its Freeware .. so Kudos to SIC! Software GMBH and their programmers. http://sic-software.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=58&sic=SIC+FTP+Client gregbridwell 27-06-2009, 04:34 AM SIC seems to be the one I am going to go with. I have one ftp site that for some reason closes when a file download completes and when I look the file hasn't come across correctly. Another site works perfectly. I have come to the conclusion that the software works perfectly and there is something different about the ftp site. Ah, oh well...I'll figure it out! Thanks again! |
